The inventor of the
i-gel® supraglottic airway device from Intersurgical, Dr Muhammed Nasir (shown above, right) has been awarded the Macewan Medal by the Difficult Airway Society (UK).
Presented at the World Airway Management Meeting in Dublin in November 2015, Dr Nasir has been recognised for his contribution to
airway management.
